An eccentric and unmistakably quirky-French restaurant and bar, Le Frenchy presents edgy and even bizarre premises that superbly redeem themselves with excellent food and mixed drinks. Let me start directly with the food because it was exceptional!. Whoever works at the stove-top is in charge of the engine that propels Le Frenchy on a path to stardom – as we looked around, we were wondering what would emerge and reach our table, and we were very pleasantly surprised.
With a name like Le Frenchy this new restaurant at the Byblos Marina could only be French…or Francophonie. You wouldn’t think so from the interior which, apart from a few cliché pictures and posters of French symbols (e.g. Eiffel Tower) and two beautiful Peugeot 103 mopeds (similar to what Italian restaurants do with Vespas), is all you’ve got to go with where association is concerned. I suppose Couqley has already cornered the French bistro segment. Like Couqley, Le Frenchy is a restaurant with a full bar. Why a restaurant like this has a full bar I don’t quite understand but there you go.
Le Frenchy, an élégant French restaurant and bar located on the first floor in Marina Byblos Hotel, exudes a warm and cozy ambience with a large indoor seating area in full view of the bar and a live performance area, happening on selected days of the week. The staff are very friendly and hospitable, the food was just amazing (don’t believe me… just scroll down), and the menu was so tempting that I felt like ordering everything in there.
